Weapon: Any one-handed except magic swords.
Armor: Bone. No shields.

Abilities

  • Neutralize poisons and non-magical paralyzation of a strength up to double your level. See progression table for chance of success.
  • Identify potions. There is a chance of misidentification. See progression table for chance of success.
  • Can neutralize a recently applied acid, preventing half of it’s damage. 5% chance of success per level.
  • Brew Poison: Max strength of poison is your level. Cost 50 GP and 1 day brewing for every level of poison strength. Not suitable for envenoming weapons.
  • Brew Anesthetic: As Brew Poison, but deals DEX damage instead of STR damage and renders unconscious instead of killing. Make a CON check every hour to awaken. Success restores the first point of DEX damage and continues to heal 1 DEX every hour (checks are no longer needed). Costs twice as much as poison.
  • Brew Potion: Can brew a Potion of Delusion from level 1. Starting at level 3, you can learn new recipes when leveling up. See progression table for the number of potions recipes known from the Alchemist Potions List. Potions cost 200 GP and 1 week brewing time per potion level. (100 GP and 4 days for Potion of Delusion).
  • Level 3: Brew Acid – 1d6 damage per level of acid. Max acid level is your current level. 100 GP and 1 day per level to brew.
  • Level 5: Brew Blade Venom – Treat poison to make it suitable to use for envenoming weapons. Costs an additional 200 GP and 1 additional week, regardless of poison strength.
  • Level 7: Read Languages – 80% chance to decipher any language you are familiar with.
  • Level 9: Can research additional potions as Wizards research spells. Having a sample of the potion adds 40% to success chance.

Uses Fighter Saving Throws with a +2 to saves vs poison.
